When Rakes appear
Completing the 13-night Story Mode unlocks Endless Mode. Rakes emerge from the forest during post-story play, so a player still progressing through the main story should not treat them as a normal Night 1–13 customer inspection.
How to stop Rakes
Shoot Rakes before they reach the playable area. An approaching Rake needs an immediate shooting response rather than a customer identity check.
Use the security cameras
In Endless Mode, the security cameras can be viewed on the computer to watch for anything emerging from the forest. Use that view to spot approaching threats, then respond before a Rake reaches the playable area.
The second gun
A second gun can be purchased in the store for use during regular store hours. The official balance notes state its availability without giving a weapon-respawn explanation or a Rakes-only purpose.
Patience in Endless Mode
Patience is enabled in Endless Mode. The official Endless Mode announcement does not describe a separate patience mechanic for Rakes. The confirmed response remains to shoot them before they reach the playable area.
