This is a static reference site. It does not create user accounts, accept free-text submissions, store form entries, load advertising or call a live gameplay API.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate page traffic and real-user performance so the site owner can detect broken or slow pages. Cloudflare provides this measurement layer with the site hosting service. The site does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics to create visitor profiles or serve advertising.
Google Analytics is gated off by default. On versions where an Analytics settings control is visible, the site can load Google Analytics only after you explicitly choose Allow analytics. If that control is absent, Google Analytics is not enabled. After consent, Google Analytics can receive page and referrer metadata, basic device/browser and visit engagement information, and the fixed official_game_clicked event with a Steam or Xbox label. Enhanced measurement, Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. The choice is stored in this browser as shift_midnight_analytics_consent_v1. When allowed, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies. You can withdraw permission from Analytics settings; the site then removes those cookies, records the declined choice and reloads without Google Analytics.
Microsoft Clarity is also optional and is loaded only on a Production build that has an approved Clarity Project ID. It stays off until you choose Allow analytics and can receive session interaction and performance information for recordings, heatmaps and diagnostics. When enabled, Clarity may set _clck and _clsk cookies. Withdrawing permission denies Clarity consent, removes those cookies when present and reloads the page.
